What is a Backlink (Defined in English not Tech Speak)?
Backlinks, also known as incoming links, inbound links, in links, and inward links, are when another website links something on their site “back” to your website. In basic link terminology, a backlink is any link received by a web page, directory, website, or top-level domain (By Wikipedia). A top-level domain is www.example.com with nothing after the .com portion.
How Many Backlinks will my Website Receive Each Month?
Currently the LN feed is designed to generate anywhere from 50 to 2000 backlinks per subscriber per month based on membership tier. Whatever tier you select you will never receive less links than the number that tier requires.
Can my Competitors have the Same Backlink?
Absolutely. The search engines parse links directly and one at a time. The distribution of those links are weighed by their own algorithms based on a wide variety of factors including content relevance. Which means if your competitors are doing correct SEO according to Google’s own suggested practices and guidelines, there will be an intersect between your links and your competitors’ links because that’s where the relevance in your industry exists.
